Farm Life
Farm life has always been a dream of mine. In the 80s my grandparents owned an 85-acre farm in Davisburg, Michigan. The beginning of a very fun four years of horse ownership for my sister and me. Years of barn chores that didn't feel like chores. Years of growing up with the bond of a horse.
Fast forward approximately 35 years. My husband and I started a hobby farm in our 50s after moving to Central Florida. Those very rough and uncleared seven acres became our very own little "Seventh Heaven Farm". Faith and hard work built our hobby farm. Memories and sunsets I will cherish forever. To think that it started with one very special chicken, Laverne.
